Tjörn Municipality (Tjörns kommun) is a municipality that covers the island of Tjörn in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Skärhamn.

Tjörn is the sixth largest Swedish island. It is located in the province of Bohuslän.

ショーン郡（スウェーデン語: Tjörns kommun）はヴェストラ・イェータランド県の自治体。同県はかつてのヨーテボリ・ボフス郡にあたり、中心の都市は圏内最大のスカールハムンである。ショーンは同名の島をとりまく500ほどの小島や島嶼、岩礁で構成され、そのほとんどは人が住まない。

ショーン郡は県南部に位置し、ブーヒュースレーン地方とスカゲラク海峡を挟んで東はステーンウングスンド郡（Stenungsunds kommun）クングエルブ（Kungälv）、北は旧ヨーテボリ・ブーヒュース県ウールスト市に接する。ショーンと本土の間にハケフィヨルドとアスケロフィヨルドが横たわり、ウールスト島との間にスティグフィヨルドが位置する。

行政史

ショーン郡に含まれる自治体は教区単位でクロヴェーダル（Klövedal）、ステンキルカとヴァッラである。これらの教区は1862年の自治体改革の際にそれぞれ同名の郡を形成し、ステンシルカ郡から1903年にクレーデスホルメン郡を、1918年にはレンナング郡を分離した。

この地域にはかつて、次の市町村があった。

• ブレケット 1920年3月18日設立、1959年末に解散。
• フラットホルメン 1906年8月24日設立、1941年末に解散。
• クレーデスホルメン 1886年1月29日設立、1959年末に解散。
• キルケスンド 1899年9月29日設立、1959年末に解散。
• スカーハムン 1888年2月18日設立、1959年末に解散。
• ストーラ・ディリャン 1906年7月6日設立、1959年末に解散。
• ショールネカルフ 1886年1月29日設立、1959年末に解散。
• オーストル 1886年1月29日設立、1959年末に解散。

1952年の地方自治体改革の際、地域のすべての地方自治体を統合して旧ショーン郡を形成した。

その旧ショーン郡は1971年の自治体の再編成によって新制ショーン郡となる。

自治体設置以来、2006年までステヌングスンド・ドムサガに属し、2006年以降はウッデバラ・ドムサガに改編される。

1977年に制定された自治体の紋章はロブスターを描いてあり、このデザインが紋章に使われた端緒は1664年にさかのぼる。1979年にスウェーデン特許登録庁（PRV）に登録した。
