Shopify Rebellion（ショッピファイ・リベリオン、略称：SR）は、eコマース企業のShopifyが運営するカナダのeスポーツ組織。
沿革
[編集]2021年
[編集]- 2月19日、ShopifyのCEOであるトビアス・リュトケがShopify Rebellionの設立を発表。『スタークラフト2』部門を設立し、2016年のWCSチャンピオンであるByuNや、サーシャ・ホスティンが加入[1]。
- 4月22日、Kansas City Pioneersの『ロケットリーグ』部門を買収し、部門設立[2][3]。
- 6月14日、『VALORANT』女性部門を設立し、VALORANT Game Changersへ参入[4][5]。
2022年
[編集]- 1月5日、『HALO』部門を設立[6]。
- 12月9日、Evil Geniusesの元選手らを獲得し、『Dota 2』部門を設立[7]。
2023年
[編集]- 8月1日、『ストリートファイター』部門を設立し、NuckleDuが加入[8]。
- 9月20日、TSMのリーグチャンピオンシップシリーズ（LCS）フランチャイズ枠を獲得し、『リーグ・オブ・レジェンド』部門を設立[9][10]。同日、Moist Esportsと提携し、Moist x Shopify Rebellionとして『VALORANT』部門を設立[11]。
