『The English Schoole-Maister: Teaching all his schollers, the order of distinct reading, and the true writing our English tongue』 は、ベリー・セント・エドマンズにあるキング・エドワード6世学校の元校長エドモンド・クートが編纂した英語の辞書で、1596年にロンドンで初めて出版された。初版から17世紀末までに少なくとも40版が出版された[1]。
いくつかの版を経て、後の版では副題が若干異なっている。
この本の出版により、彼は校長の職を失った可能性が高い。
