フランスギャロ・サンクルー大賞典より（2013年2月28日閲覧） 「A considerable advantage to the race was that unlike most Classics, where horses must be entered before they are born or as yearlings, it was possible to enter just 2 months beforehand. 」クラシック戦は、その馬が生まれる前から、もしくは1歳の頃からの登録を要する。

フランスギャロ・パリ大賞典より As part of the reform of the Classic programme for 3-year-olds, France Galop decided to modify the date and distance of the Grand Prix de Paris in 2005. クラシック戦線の見直しのため、2005年にパリ大賞典の開催時期や距離を変更することにした。（普通に考えればパリ大賞典もクラシック戦線の一環を成すと解釈できる。）

Six fillies have managed the Prix de Diane-Grand Prix de Paris double ディアーヌ賞とパリ大賞典の二冠を制した牝馬は6頭。 これ同様に「二冠（double)」という表現は、the Prix du Jockey Club-Grand Prix de Paris double、the English derby -Grand Prix de Paris double、と言い表している。ジョッキークラブ賞とパリ大賞典、英国ダービーとパリ大賞典。

似たようなものではネアルコがイタリアダービーとパリ大賞典を勝っているが、これに対しては「double」の語は用いられていない。

このほか、プールデッセ、リュパン賞、ロワイヤルオーク賞とのセットについては言及なし。

また、距離が短くなってからの時代についてはthe Prix Jean Prat-Grand Prix doubleという概念も登場。（ジャンプラ賞とパリ大賞典で二冠）

1903年のRose de Maiは Poule d'Essai des Poulichesと Prix de Dianeを勝ったことで「dual classic winner」（サラブレッドヘリテイジ）

theや""の有無にはあまり神経質にならなくてもいいのかも。 読者（＝大半が英米人）にとって自明な三冠（＝イギリス、アメリカ）のものと、単に「三冠」じゃなんのことかわからない英米以外のもの、って違いに過ぎないのかも。

イギリス

無数にある。theもつかず、「English Triple Crown」

サラブレッドヘリテイジでは、ほとんどの場合「English Triple Crown」、「U.S.Triple Crown」「American Triple Crown」ばっかりで、ここでは「the French "Triple Crown"」とあえて「""」がついている。EnglishやU.S.には「the」がつかない。
