カタルーニャ語と近縁にあるスペイン語についてはスペイン語の日本語表記を参照せよ。

What I don't understand is the inclusion of Spanish language here as if it was a variation of the same language. The matchs with Spanish come directly from Latin language, no from mutual influence (and divergences too). Llull 2005年12月15日 (木) 18:43 (UTC)

My explanation was too short. Catalan resembles Spanish in the spelling. However, pronunciation is considerably different. I thought that comparison of pronunciation of Spanish and Catalan was necessary. There are thinks that I wanted to put but my Japanese don't let. Catalan is a en:Syllable-timed language where the different position of the stress change the meaning of the world, in sometimes abruptly (màquina -> machine, maquina -> "he thinks machiavellianly") or fore example changing the verbal tense ("Canta -> "He/she/it sings", Cantà -> "He/she/it/ sang", "cantara" -> I sang (subjuntive), "cantarà" -> "He/she/it will sing", cantes -> "you sing", "cantès" -> "I sang", et coetera". This stressed syllabe (one for word, only) so important is marcked with a "一" when is transcribed to Japanese. ¿Where? After all the vowels with accent "à, è, é, í, ò, ó, ú", after the last vowel of the world when this finnished with a consonant that isn't in the combination "as, es, is, os, us, en, in", in all the other cases in the penultimate vowel except when there are 3 toguether without accent, then the symbol must be after the first of the three.

The accents of é, è and ó, ò indicates in Catalan difenciations of pronunciation, but are always tanscribed as エ and オ respectibely.

I wanted to put to (out of the table, that is very large), that in very important dialects (in Barcelona area, for example), the vowels a/e in non estressed syllabes are pronunciated in an intermedial sound that could be transcribed as ア, changing too, all the other kana implicated, but the better is make the transcriprion as in the table because is more representative of the scripture. The sames happens with non stressed o/u that is in Barcelona pronunciated as a pure ウ but the better is ignore this in transcription. Llull 2005年12月17日 (土) 18:41 (UTC)

「平板」

全面改稿すべきと思いますが

この記事はカタルーニャ語話者の方が初版を投稿されたようですが、標準カタルーニャ語の音韻を無視したような内容になっています（強勢のない音節のa、eが[ə]で、oが[u]で発音される）。またカタルーニャ語の日本語表記#方言の発音と日本語表記では「カタルーニャ語の方言についても言及が必要である。例えばバルセロナ地域での例を示すと、強勢がない音節に含まれるa やe は中間的な発音となり、日本語で表記すると「ア」となる。さらにバルセロナ方言ではo とu はいずれも「オ」とは聞こえず「ウ」と発音しているとしか聞こえない。しかしながら日本語では表にある通りに表記するのがよいだろう。なぜならば、書き言葉として相応しいからである。」となっており、「書き言葉として相応しいから」というのは適当でないと思います。また、バルセロナで話される方言が標準カタルーニャ語と考えられており、日本語で書かれている文法書『カタルーニャ語文法入門』、『ニューエクスプレスカタルーニャ語』（前者が大学書林、後者が白水社出版で、ともに田澤耕著）もそれについて書かれており、また日本人を含む外国語話者がこの言語を学ぶ場合はバルセロナ方言を基とする標準カタルーニャ語だと思います。また前節カタルーニャ語の日本語表記#日本語で表せない強勢の問題点では動詞の例が引いてありますが、外来語の日本語表記で重要なのは主に固有名詞の転記に関してであると思われるので、この内容も大きく変えるほうがいいと思います。現在の記事は文字をそのまま置き換えるようなことになっており、適切であるとは思えません。以上のことから、標準カタルーニャ語に即した、日本語への転記を基本に、方言形にも触れるというような内容に改めるほうがいいと思います。--Xapones（会話） 2013年9月6日 (金) 17:58 (UTC)
