ニトロスピラ門(Nitrospirae)は、細菌の門である。1つの綱、1つの目、1つの科を含む。科の中にはいくつかの属があり、最大のものはニトロスピラ属である。この門の最初の種であるNitrospira marinaは、1985年に発見された^[1]。2つ目の種であるThermodesulfovibrio yellowstoniiは、1994年に発見された^[2]。3つ目の種であるNitrospira moscoviensisは、1995年に発見された^[3]^[4]。

系統

今日受け入れられている分類はList of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)に基づき、系統は'The All-Species Living Tree' Projectの16S rRNA-based LTP release 111に基づく^[5]。
