サイクリンC(英: cyclin C)は、ヒトではCCNC遺伝子にコードされるタンパク質である[5][6]。
CCNC遺伝子にコードされるサイクリンCは、サイクリンファミリーに属するタンパク質である。サイクリンCはサイクリン依存性キナーゼ8と相互作用し、RNAポリメラーゼIIの大サブユニットのC末端ドメインのリン酸化を誘導する。この遺伝子のmRNAレベルは細胞周期のG1期にピークに達する。この遺伝子には異なるアイソフォームをコードする2つの転写バリアントが見つかっている[6]。
相互作用
[編集]サイクリンCはエストロゲン受容体α[7]、サイクリン依存性キナーゼ8と相互作用することが示されている[7][8][9][10][11]。
