サイクリンA1(英: cyclin A1)は、ヒトではCCNA1遺伝子にコードされるタンパク質である[5]。
機能
[編集]CCNA1遺伝子にコードされるサイクリンA1タンパク質は、高度に保存されたサイクリンファミリーに属する。このファミリーのメンバーは、細胞周期を通じてタンパク質の存在量に劇的な周期性がみられることで特徴づけられる。サイクリンはサイクリン依存性キナーゼ(CDK)の調節因子として機能する。さまざまなサイクリンはそれぞれ異なる発現と分解のパターンを示し、細胞周期のイベントの時間的調整に寄与する。サイクリンA1は精巣と脳のほか、いくつかの白血病細胞株で発現していることが示されており、主に減数分裂の制御に機能すると考えられている。このサイクリンはCDK1とCDK2の双方に結合する。S期とG2期に異なるキナーゼ活性を示し、細胞周期の異なる機能を調節する。このサイクリンは、Rbファミリータンパク質、転写因子E2F1、Kip/CipファミリーのCDK阻害タンパク質など、重要な細胞周期調節因子に結合することが知られている[6]。
