www.webcitation.org のリンク修正について

"#IABot (v1.5.2)" という履歴で、出典などで使用している www.webcitation.org のリンク修正作業をされていますが、逆にクリックしても何も表示されなくなります。明らかな改悪ですので、差し戻しをお願いします。例えば、

前者を後者に変更されていますが、後者ですと何も表示されません。間違いがあるのではありませんか。ご自身が行った編集については責任をもって元の正常なリンクに戻して下さい。--トトト（会話） 2017年9月21日 (木) 00:21 (UTC)[返信]

First of all, please do not remove messages posted here, even if you cannot understand. Since it's Japanese wikipedia here, it's natural many of users coming this page do not understand English. Removing their message merely because you can't understand will be regarded as ill-mannered. Instead you should ask for help of other users, at places like Wikipedia:Help for Non-Japanese Speakers.

User:トトト complains the bot is replacing a link with an unavailable one. He showed an example of [1] being replaced with [2]. As for this case, both are available and they seem identical to my eye. Thank you for the clarification. I guess my culture is somewhat different. I did not mean to appear rude. As for the complaint. There shouldn’t be any difference in what is loaded in both URLs. The URL the bot converted was to the archive’s long form equivalent.
