English: May 5 resolution of the Burao grand conference. At the second national meeting on May 18, the SNM Central Committee, with the support of a meeting of elders representing the major clans in the Northern Regions, declared the restoration of the Republic of Somaliland in the territory of the former British Somaliland protectorate and formed a government for the self-declared state.[1]

This work is in the public domain in the United States because it is a work of Somaliland, a self-declared sovereign state that is internationally recognized to be part of Somalia, and has no existing copyright law or intellectual property relations, under the terms of Title 17, Section 104 of the U.S. Code and Circ. 38a.

  • これらの国の出版されていない著作物は著作権保護下にある場合があります。
  • 上記の国を本国とする著作物は、アメリカ合衆国が加盟する著作権条約・協定に上記の国が加盟し、加盟時点で本国において著作権を有する場合は、アメリカ合衆国において著作権で著作物が保護される可能性があります。

According to the 1977 Copyright Law - Law No. 66 of 7 September 1977, the law of internationally recognized Somalia includes copyright protection for registered works. However, there is no longer anywhere in Somaliland to register copyrights. There are records of a copyright office existing prior to being destroyed in the civil war in 1991.
