DOROTHY DAVENPORT was born in Boston, Mass., on March 13th., 1895, and received her education in Roanoke, Va. She was one of the very first screen players to arrive in Hollywood, coming to the west coast under the direction of Al Christie. Appearing in Universal pictures, she met beloved Wallace Reid, and after a courtship, the popular players were united in marriage. With the arrival of a son she retired to the privacy of her home and its consequent cares. Since the lamented passing of the popular "Wally," Mrs. Reid has returned to the screen appearing in her own productions, the first being an exposé of the Drug Traffic. She is one of the most beautiful of screen stars, and indulges in most outdoor sports. Her hobby is reading and her home possesses a splendid library. She is 5 feet 7 inches high, weighs 130 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes.
