ナイジェリア、我ら汝を讃えん (ナイジェリア、われらなんじをたたえん、英語: Nigeria, We Hail Thee) は、ナイジェリアの現国歌。
1960年10月1日から1978年10月1日の間、および2024年5月29日から現在まで採用されている。1978年から2024年までの間は起て同胞、ナイジェリアの呼び出しに遵ってが国歌であった。
歴史
[編集]本楽曲は1959年に当時のイギリスの駐在員、リリアン・ジーン・ウィリアムズ (Lillian Jean Williams) が作詞し、フランシス・ベンダ (Frances Benda) が作曲した[2][3]。1960年10月1日のナイジェリアの独立とともにナイジェリアの国歌となる。
1978年、オルシェグン・オバサンジョ政権は本楽曲に代わって起て同胞、ナイジェリアの呼び出しに遵って (英語: Arise, O Compatriots) を国歌に採用した[2]。
2024年5月29日、ボラ・ティヌブ大統領は第4共和国建国25周年記念の会議中に本楽曲を国歌としての再採用を決定した[4]。
